Olympiakos piraeus vs Arsenal   Leave a comment

Arsenal are inconsistently consistent this season. Swansea’s Michel michu brace at the weekend condemn the gunners to their fourth defeat in the league this season. The gunners are through to the round of sixteen in the champions league but they still have a small chance of topping their group he they could get a win later today and shalke failing to win against montpellier.
Match fact.
This will be Arsene’s 150th champions league match as Arsenal manager.
The last visit of arsenal to karaiskakis stadium twelve month ago ended in a 3-1 defeat for the emirate outfit side.
The gunners have kept only one clean sheet in their last twenty two champions league matches away from home and won just seven of their last 29 on the road. (W7D7L15)- this does not look good at all.
Olympiakos have lost just three of their last 17 home matches in the champions league and have drawn one of their last 32 european matches (W15D1L16). The only english team to beat the greek champion at home in the champions league since year 2000 is manchester United winning in 2001 and 2002.
The last time Roy caroll played against arsenal was in the Fa cup final in 2005 which was the last time Arsenal won a trophy- will we win another this season?

Fellow gunners let us get behind the team win, loose or draw.
